Hailing from Nice, France, La Grande Dame’s journey into the spotlight began in 2018 when she started performing indrag. Despite a challenging upbringing, which included leaving home at 14 and spending time in foster care, La Grande Dame’s resilience and talent have shaped her into one of the most recognized drag performers in France. She gained widespread attention as a contestant on the first season of Drag Race France in 2022, where she became a runner-up. Her captivating presence and unique blend of fashion and humor earned her a place as a finalist in the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. The World in 2024.
In addition to her drag career, La Grande Dame has made significant strides in the fashion world, walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier, Victor Weinsanto, and Charles de Vilmorin, among others. She made her modeling debut at Gaultier's farewell show in 2020, marking a pivotal moment in her career. As of 2024, La Grande Dame is set to release her debut album, with the album cover designed by Swiss designer Kevin Germanier.
