The Freemasons are an English house-music duo from Brighton, East Sussex, comprised of producers Russell Small and James Wiltshire. They launched their career in 2003 and built a distinctive sound blending house, funky house and nu-disco styles. One of their breakout tracks was their 2005 hit “Love on My Mind” (featuring Amanda Wilson), which re-worked older disco classics into a modern club anthem and reached the UK top 20. The Freemasons are also well-known for their high-profile remixes of major artists (including Beyoncé) and for founding their own label, Freemaison, in 2005.
